Golf Nut Society Radio

On February 1, 2008, the Golf Nut Society launched a new, one hour, radio program.

The program, designed to emulate the ultra-successful www.GolfNuts.com web site, is called, "DEAR HEAD NUT... with the HEAD NUT and G-Man." The call in, write-in or e-mail in show is broadcast live every Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm (PST) on KLAV 1230 AM, The Talk of Las Vegas. The program can be accessed live Worldwide via the Internet at www.klav1230am.com.

The program is a showcase for the Golf Nut Society and its Members. Each show showcases the Golf Nuts' amazing dedication and addiction to the game of golf. I addition to a variety of "mixed Nuts," "Dear Head Nut..." features notables from the world of golf and other sports as well. To Date Guests have included; Mrs. Sarah Christensen of Hole-In-One Pliates, Mr. Gary Davis, Chairman of the Justin Timberlake, Shriners Hospital Charity Golf Tournament in Las Vegas, Mr. George "Two-Balls" McNielly of ESPN, Ms. Seema Sadekar of the Duramed Futures Tour and even Mrs. Head Nut, herself!

Upcoming programs include interviews with, Jonathon Ogden of the Baltimore Ravens, Keven Sorbo - perhaps best known for his role as Hercules on TV - to discuss his Celebrity Tournament, Rudy Ruettiger - the inspiration for the hit movie "Rudy," and an array of interesting, informative, captivating and just plain crazy Golf Nuts.

WWW.GOLFNUTS.COM , the exclusive web site of the Golf Nut Society, will soon begin videotaping certain shows live in the studio and broadcasting these episodes through a "Members Only" media section of the Golf Nut Forums.

Over the past 21+ years, the Golf Nut Society has amassed an amazing amount of audio and video recordings that are exclusive to the Golf Nut Society. The GNBG, GOLF NUT BROADCASTING GROUP (a subsidiary of the Golf Nut Society) is currently examining all the content that has been accumulated. Soon the GNS intends to create and broadcast a full schedule of audio and video content.
