It has been a beautiful day in the desert. Sunshine, warm, blue, cloudless skies made golfing a real treat today. The icing on my "perfect day cake" was playing a round of golf with Scott Masingill, the Golf Nut Society's 2008 Golf Nut of the Year. This guy can flat out play! He shot a "Ho-Hum" 74 at Dragon Ridge Country Club. It is no stretch of the imagination that his score could easily have been 68 or 69 if he had not had to contend with my struggles on the course. To expect anything less than great from Scott Masingill would be foolhardy. He only knows one way to do everything and that's by giving 100% to whatever he does. It really shows too. More about that later this weekend...in the meantime, check out Scott's impressive resume.
