    Hollywood legend Mr.Tony Curtis

("...call me Tony") joined the Head Nut and G-Man on Golf Nuts Radio Friday. The star of such classic movies as "Some Like it Hot," "The Boston Strangler," "Spartacus," and "Houdini," discussed his legendary career and the Royal & Ancient Game of Golf...Hollywood Style!

"I didn't play much golf," Tony recalled, "But Jack Lemmon, oh my, Jack was nuts for golf...a real Golf Nut! In the sound stage, I would find anything that even looked like grass. I'd roll it out maybe 50 feet or so and have the boys put a hole in it. He (Jack Lemmon) would just putt and putt and putt all day long!"

Mr. Cutis...sorry, Tony, went on to explain about Shiloh, the ranch for unwanted horses that he operates with his wife, Jill. "Shiloh Rescue "adopts" horses that have been sort of "thrown away. At any time we might have a couple of hundred horses at Shiloh. We're very proud of the job we've done. Honestly the credit belongs to my lovely wife. This is her passion, her mission and I'm just happy to be a part of it," stated Tony.

Shiloh rescues abused, unwanted, neglected, and slaughter bound horses of all types. Shiloh also take horses from the Clark County Animal Control that have been confiscated from their owners due to abuse and neglect. They rehabilitate these horses and find suitable and safe homes to place them into. For more information on Shiloh visit www.shilohrescue.com .

G-Man caught up with Tony the day following at Towne Center where Tony was doing a book signing. Tony's recently released book, American Prince , presents a unique, insider's view of the glory days of "Tinsletown."   As forthright as he is enthralling, Tony Curtis offers intimate glimpses into his succession of failed marriages (and the one that has endured), his destructive drug addiction, and his passion as a painter. Written with humorAmerican Prince is a testament to the power of living the life of one’s dreams.American Prince is available at Borders and at Amazon.com.

During G-man's conversation with Mr. Curtis (ooppps, Tony,) it was revealed that Tony's next project might be a Shiloh-like refuge for unwanted-old-golfers. And, here's a little known fact; there are only four recognized grips with which to hold a golf club and one of them was invented by Tony Curtis! There are the Vardon Grip, the Overlapping Grip, the Interlocking Grip AND... THE DESALVO GRIP! *** OK for those of you who don't get it... Tony Curtis played Albert DeSalvo... The Boston Strangler, thus the DeSalvo Grip, when you "choke" your club to death!***

Seriously, Tony Curtis is an American icon. He is a gracious and humble man who is a Hollywood Legend. Today's "superstars" should take a lesson from this soft-spoken giant. Thank you, Tony, for a lifetime of making people happy.
